Question is not about Indian art on a whole. You need to only talk about various cave paintings in a bit detail.
Introduction is still fine.
In the body, mention caves such as-Bhimbetka (mostly secular- depiction of hunters and food gatherers, fighters, riders on horses, elephants carrying metal weapons)
Lakhudiyar (secular paintings depicting animals, humans and tectiforms)
Ajanta ( mainly Buddhist, Jataka tales, frescoes,murals of secular nature depicting court processions, feasts, festivals etc also found)
Ellora ( religious in nature- all the 3 Jainism, Buddhism, Hinduism related)
Sittanavasal (Jainism related, secular paintings of king and queen, lotus tank, birds, animals etc)
Badami ( Hindu mural paintings) and their features.
No need to mention about IVC, Vedic people etc.
