In introduction, talk about rising oil prices too due to the crisis.. Introduction should give an idea of what is coming next..
In next part, quite generic points have been mentioned.. In fact, India has increased its import from Russia, hence first point can be framed better. Also talk about the geopolitical situation that might effect India in future such as deteriorating relations between the West and Russia(sanctions regime), increased economic and energy ties between Russia-China and response of Gulf countries whether they respond positively to the courtship of Russia/China, move back into the Western fold, or stay outside both orbits being neutral and opportunistic.
Way forward only talks about one solution that is renewable energy but that is one point, mention the need for integrated energy policy and an authority for its implementation, facilitating the whole of the system approach, increasing the strategic reserves etc too.
Need to cover all dimensions in the answer, content is not adequate. Please go through the article attached above.

Introduction is good.
Challenges mentioned are fine , but more geopolitical dimensions can be covered. First point is good, after that you can talk about increased economic and energy ties between Russia-China which makes India uncomfortable and unsure of Russia’s position in case of a conflict with China.
Response of Gulf countries- whether they respond positively to the courtship of Russia/China, move back into the Western fold, or stay outside both orbits being neutral and opportunistic can also have an impact on India.
Way forward is good, need for integrated energy policy and an authority for its implementation can also be added because currently there is no executive authority responsible for energy (different ministries are responsible for components of energy policy but no formal mechanism for aligning their separate approaches).
Conclusion is good.
Keep practicing. 🙂

Hello
In introduction, no need to mention causes of the war, mention rising oil prices, introduction should give a context of what is about to come in the answer.
In affects, points are fine, but more geopolitical dimensions which could impact India’s energy security could be mentioned.. Increased economic and energy ties between Russia-China which makes India uncomfortable and unsure of Russia’s position in case of a conflict with China.
Response of Gulf countries- whether they respond positively to the courtship of Russia/China, move back into the Western fold, or stay outside both orbits being neutral and opportunistic can also have an impact on India.
Way forward is fine, good use of flowchart, need for integrated energy policy and an authority for its implementation can also be added because currently there is no executive authority responsible for energy (different ministries are responsible for components of energy policy but no formal mechanism for aligning their separate approaches).
Conclusion is good.
