article/opinion/columns/ indian-defence-forces- pensions-bill-chief-of- defence-staff-bipin-rawat-cds- 7131474/ - In the intro, briefly introduce the idea of Theatre Command.
- In the body, mention the advantage of its creation like- training in jointness, so that they are able to plan operations and to employ land, maritime and air forces, regardless of the service to which they belong, Commands will enable to meet the country specific demands etc. In the challenges mention the issue of chain of command, difficultis in achieving jointness etc.
- Conclude by mentioning the creation of Theatre Command as being long overdue to boost the country’s defence capabilities.

Hi RR
Good introduction.
In the challenges , also mention that the concept of a theatre command may promote a sense of “fighting battles, rather than fighting a war”, which in turn may reduce our ability to either win a battle or the war.
Advantages are discussed in a decent manner.
Good structure.
Avoid spelling mistakes.
Keep writing.

Hi KG
India has two tri-service commands not one. The first one is known as the Andaman and Nicobar Command (ANC) and was created in 2001. It is led by service chiefs on a rotational basis. The second is a functional command (not overseeing a particular geographical location) called the Strategic Forces Command established in 2006.
You have covered multiple dimensions. appreciable.
Use of map diagram is good.
