Points related to Himalayas are fine. However, in Western Ghats you haven’t mentioned why landslides occur, reasons are different from Himalayas but landslides occur in Western Ghats too. You can mention heavy mining activities, deforestation, gravitational pull, anomalous slopes, heavy rainfall, windmill projects etc
Also try to mention examples for both sections.
Brief subsection on way forward can be mentioned after that.
Some recommendations of committees such as Gadgil committee can be incorporated.
