Hello
Please post reference ID for further reviews.
You have presented just one side of the argument in the answer. In questions asking you to discuss, both sides should be presented and then you can come to a conclusion.
In introduction, you can also talk about the status of marital rape in India other than defining it.
Next, rather than writing impacts you can divide the body into- ‘arguments for criminalising marital rape’ and ‘arguments against’.
Arguments for are somewhat mentioned in impacts. Empirical evidence (The NFHS-5 data shows that married women face sexual violence in large numbers) and International obligation (India’s obligations under The Convention on the Elimination of All forms of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW))can also be mentioned.
In arguments against you can mention Sanctity of marriage; Difficulty in establishing consent; Potential for misuse; Contradictory to family law; Hale’s Doctrine and the Doctrine of Coverture which proclaim the husband and wife to be one person after marriage etc
Conclusion is fine.
Keep practicing. 🙂
