Sailakshami,
Your Introduction is lengthy concise it. Also it would be better to define regionalism and club reasons for it that you have Written into one paragraph as Introduction.
Overall you have Written a fine answer. Covered all the three part of body well however you can give few more examples in each section Like Even post completion of reorganisation of NE in 1972, demands for autonomy didn’t end. In Assam, communities like Bodos, Karbis and Dimasas demanded separate States.
In secessionist tendencies you can also mention Nagalim movement, ULFA in assam,
Opposition to outsiders- the hostility of local population to Chakma refugees in Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh. Etc.
Then you should have Written steps taken by the Govt. Of India.
And should have Written more clear Suggestions separated of Conclusion.
Then only it will be a complete answer.
Rest is Written fine. Your expression of arguments is good. Also understanding of the topic is also fine. Just address all the aspects with equitable spacing.
All the Best and Keep Practicing 🙂

Shubhashree,
Your Introduction is Good. You should write Expression of regionalism then it’s type under your diagram as it’s hard to Separate one from another.
In body rather then writing reasons separately in the end you should’ve mentioned them either in Introduction or Inculcate them organically in main body of the answer.
Also you need to mention more effective govt steps such as various pacts, reorganization of states, sch 5th and 6th etc.
I have suggested you earlier as well that always give some suggestions to do better. Since problem is still persisting that means there is scope for improvement. This will depict you constructive and problem solving Attitude.
Rest is Written Good. All the best and Keep Practicing 🙂

Ankita,
You have decent knowledge about the Issues however answer you have Written in not upto the mark.
Introduction is lengthy. You need to seriously work upon Writing concise Introduction. Crisp definition of regionalism and reasons for it in NE India would be more effective Introduction here.
Cover all the three aspect mention in the Question. You have missed secessionist movements.
In secessionist tendencies you can also mention, Mizo movement, Nagalim movement, ULFA in Assam etc.
Steps by the Written by you can mentioned with better words like Constitutional and Legislative measures, Developmental Steps, Executive actions and coercive action for ex against ULFA etc.
Content is fine just Better arrangement with diverse coverage can improve your answer.
You have potential to do very good in Mains. Just Stay focus and keep Practicing. All the very Best 🙂

Jaya,
First of all you need to mind the word limit which is 150 words for a 10 marks ques. Writing more or less 10-20 words can be Ignored but that this kind of breach of word limit.
For this you need to be stick strictly to the demand of the question. Write short and crisp paragraphs and sentences.
You have address various parts of the question. But not satisfactorily.
Question doesn’t ask you to write Reasons so writing them in that much detail is of no use. Rather expand on the core aspect of the question i.e. Regional aspirations in the North East have been dominated by demands for autonomy, movements for secession, and opposition to ‘outsiders’. And Inculcate reasons organically in this part of the body or just mention them in brief in Introduction itself.
Steps by the Written by you can mentioned with better headers like Constitutional and Legislative measures, Developmental Steps, Executive actions and coercive action for ex against ULFA etc.
Conclusion is fine.
Keep in mind the Suggestions. Work upon your arrangement of the Arguements. Content wise you have decent knowledge.
I’m sorry for delayed evaluations. However I hope that it will help in writing better answers.
I wish you all the best for the preliminary examination. Stay in touch with Mains answer Writing Atleast till the 15-20th of aug. After that your sole focus should be Prelims. Work hard, study hard and stay calm, calmer you’ll be in exam hall on the day of Prelims sharper will the brain work and brighter will be the chance of yours to go through the preliminary.
Good Luck & Keep Practicing:)

Kartikey,
Introduction is fine. You need to work upon writing better Conclusions.
You have addressed all three manifestation of regionalism in NE fine but it can be improved upon. In this section you can also take reference from past as well.
Demands for political autonomy arose when non-Assamese felt that Assam government was imposing Assamese language on them. This led reorganisation of NE in 1972, but demands for autonomy didn’t end. In Assam, communities like Bodos, Karbis and Dimasas demanded separate States
Secessionist movements you could’ve also mentioned Two decades of insurgency led by Mizo National Front ended after a peace agreement in 1986. The United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) is a separatist outfit operating in Assam the government of India banned the organisation in 1990 citing it as a terrorist organisation.
Additions on the same lines can be done for Movements against outsiders.
You should mention steps taken so far then only further Suggestions must be given. Mention steps either separately or with the various manifestation Written above.
Try to address all the Aspects.
Keep Practicing 🙂
