Introduction is fine, historical connection can be mentioned here only, no need to mention it again in next part. Importance should be talked about mainly in current context.
Points in the next part are fine, you can also mention that Africa is slowly becoming a theatre of great power rivalry(China example), plus India needs Africa’s support on its bid of being a UNSC permanent member, both partners can also present a stronger stand on issues in WTO in a joint manner. Further, economic importance should also be mentioned- put in some trade figures, interest of Indian investors in Africa, size of African markets etc. Africa is also important for India in the context of energy security as it is home to 30% of world’s mineral reserves.
Your presentation of the answer is fine, but a deeper analysis is required, points have become a bit generic, other than strategic factors mentioned by you, other points can be written in almost every answer.
Challenges mentioned are fine, a hub-spoke diagram can be used to increase the number of points w/o increasing word limit by much- delay in project delivery (AAGC), financial limitations of India, attacks on Africans in India are extra points that can be mentioned.
Conclusion is fine.
Keep practicing. 🙂
