article/opinion/columns/child- marriage-education-covid- pandemic-7639949/ - In the intro, mention NFHS4 findings indicating the prevalence of the practice of child marriage in India.
- In the body, mention the figures from the NFHS survey. In the next part mention social and economic factors such as poverty, level of education, role of women in family as wife and mother etc.
- In the next part suggest comprehensive approach that include legislative measure and other drivers of social change such as education and empowerment measures coupled with government actions and decentralisation of registration of birth and marriages to gram panchayats.
- Conclude by mentioning the need to execute this comprehensive approach to end the child marriage.

Hello
Intro is okay, but again you can mention data from NFHS-4 to substantiate your points- National Family Health Survey (NFHS4) in 2015-16 shows that even before Covid, one in four girls in India was being married before 18. Around 8 per cent of women aged 15-19 years were mothers or pregnant at the time of the survey.
Also don’t single out any community unless you back it by relevant data/report etc
Factors mentioned are fine, points are good..also underline or encircle only important points..don’t underline the whole answer..its relevance will be lost.
In measures..try to mention examples..for example in legislation you can mention the Karnataka law declaring every child marriage void ab initio, making it a cognisable offence, and introducing a minimum period of rigorous imprisonment for all who enable a child marriage.
You can mention some innovative ideas too like Girls’ clubs should be systematically formed in high school, role of teachers, community engagement through programmes like Mahila Samakhya etc
Conclusion is fine.
Keep writing. 🙂

Decent attempt. Introduction is good. Reasons mentioned are also fine. Bullet points are good.
A brief section on negative impacts can also be mentioned- violates girls’ human rights; cuts short their education; poor nutrition and anaemia; social isolation; domestic violence; early childbearing; and few decision-making powers within the home. Poor education, malnutrition, and early pregnancy lead to low birth weight of babies, perpetuating the intergenerational cycle of malnutrition.
Use diagrams/flowcharts if necessary.
Measures to prevent are also well-written but some more points can be incorporated for example in legislation you can mention the Karnataka law declaring every child marriage void ab initio, making it a cognisable offence, and introducing a minimum period of rigorous imprisonment for all who enable a child marriage.
You can mention some innovative ideas too like Girls’ clubs should be systematically formed in high school for increasing awareness.
Write a concluding statement.
Keep writing. 🙂

Introduction is fine, but keep it crisp. 2nd para can be omitted as you have mentioned prohibition of child marriage act afterwards.
Your points are fine..but explanation is not upto the mark in 1st 2 points..it seems you are talking generally about marriage rather than child marriage.. mention there about patriarchal belief that girls need to marry early for safety and protection; and apprehensions about the risk to family honour.
Other two points are good.
Before coming to way forward, briefly you can mention the impacts- this is a 15 mark question so holistic answer is expected- also you can use 3 pages instead of 2. In impacts you can mention that it violates girls’ human rights; cuts short their education; poor nutrition and anaemia; social isolation; domestic violence; early childbearing; and few decision-making powers within the home. Poor education, malnutrition, and early pregnancy lead to low birth weight of babies, perpetuating the intergenerational cycle of malnutrition.
In way forward, talk about the legislative measures also- read up a bit on the Karnataka Act, innovative measures like girls’ clubs in high schools, role of teachers etc can also be mentioned.
Conclusion is fine.
Keep writing..use 3 pages for 15 mark questions. 🙂
