article/opinion/columns/ richard-marles-writes-our- entwined-values-interests- australia-india-japan-indo- pacific-region-7983013/ - In the intro, mention that the Indo-Pacific region faces the most serious strategic confluence of events since the end of the Second World War.
- In the body, mention that Australia places India at the centre of Australia’s approach to the Indo-Pacific. Also mention how engagement offers opportunities for India. In the next part mention 2+2 dialogue and Quad and cooperation in various areas.
- Conclude by mentioning that the interests of both countries are inextricably linked. What both nations need is to further their cooperation.

Introduction is fine. However, you can also mention the common shared values between India-Australia- democracy, rule of law, strategic convergence etc.
Frame the answer by integrating it with Indo-Aus relations otherwise the first part of your answer feels like a separate answer.
In next part, first mention the hindrances to our collective security and prosperity- most serious strategic confluence of events since the end of the Second World War; intensifying strategic and geo-economic competition; the return of war to Europe; growing climate risks; and enduring pandemic impacts, all of which are driving inflation and supply chain shocks. After that you can mention the shaping of environment part. Points are fine.
Relations part are also fine, however an important part that is Indo-pacific, Quad, 2+2 meeting is missing.
Conclusion is fine.
Keep practicing, also go through the article tagged above. 🙂

In introduction, you can mention how India and Australia share common values- democracy, rule of law, strategic convergence etc. Then you can mention the strategic partnership.
After that mention partnership between India and Australia – first point that you have written can be elaborated a bit( mention the shared vision of Indo-Pacific) ; after that the next 3 points are micro level points, talk about trade partnership, defence exercises, partnership on climate action and assistance to Sri Lanka. All points can be substantiated with some facts and figures.
Next you can mention the way forward and conclude. The one you have written is quite long, make it concise.
You are writing whatever you know in a particular topic but that should not be the case. Address what is asked. Pick keywords from the question itself and see whether your answer is in that direction or not. For example, in this question we need to talk about the ‘shared values’ b/w India-Aus; challenges to collective security and prosperity and India-Australia relations. So these 3 parts should be addressed, other things that you know can be used as fillers but should not form the crux of the answer.
Keep practicing. 🙂
