article/opinion/columns/china- has-shown-how-not-to-conduct- business-with-other-states- 7648058/ - In the intro, mention the formation of AUKUS.
- In the body, mention the emergence of Quad and AUKUS and changing attitude of China towards these coalitions. Next, mention the two factors in the US policy towards China, regional pushback against China despite its hard power etc.
- The premature nature of claims about the terminal decline of the US, unsustainability of the coalitions can be mentioned in the conclusion.

Hello
Intro is fine..while mentioning about alliances mention about AUKUS…don’t limit your answer to India..you can mention some other emerging trends as well-
Assertive policies of China has made a friendly America into an enemy prematurely (consensus against China across party lines)
It has also underestimated the depth of nationalist sentiment in other Asian states, earlier Asian nationalism was easily mobilised against the US and the West but now it is driving many of China’s neighbours into the US camp.
Many countries like Australia, India, Japan, the Philippines and Vietnam are veering towards the US
Expansionism has led to the inevitable militarisation of its periphery.
In the second part after but..mention China’s perspectives too..points you have mentioned are not accurate..geopolitical alliance can be a security alliance as well..also SAARC, BIMSTEC are not too relevant here..mention that China sees Quad as Asian NATO…also it is hoping to break coalitions and further use its economic and military power to shift balance of power in its favor but that needs to be seen..
Keep practicing..read the article tagged. 🙂
“One of the many consequences of China’s assertive posture in Asia has been the emergence of geopolitical coalitions to limit Beijing’s regional dominance. Critically analyse.

Good attempt, your understanding of the topic is good..presentation is fine too..you can increase some content.
Quad/Aukus are explained well, after that you can mention some other emerging trends as well-

China’s reaction part is okay..you can mention that it is hoping to break coalitions and further use its economic and military power to shift balance of power in its favor but that needs to be seen..
Conclusion is fine, instead of IOR you can mention world order..
Keep practicing. 🙂
