Introduction is good.
After that in next two sections, you can increase the content, need to show convergence between India’s Indo-Pacific policy and US’s idea of empowering allies is the main demand of the question.
China factor for both, India’s SAGAR initiative and US’s role of net security provider, US’s policy of sharing technological and defense know- how and India’s goal of developing indigenous capacity- all can be mentioned.
Examples in later part of the answer are good, but you can use these examples to substantiate your points in the body rather than writing them in isolation. That will improve the presentation.
Also avoid relating Aatmanirbhar Bharat directly to protectionism, you can talk about indigenous capacity building.
A brief way forward can also be mentioned.
Conclusion is fine.
Keep practicing. 🙂

Introduction is good, after that policy measures of both nations are also written well.
However, don’t limit your answer to official policy, you can add some of your own interpretations which you think show convergence between the two nations, for example,
China factor for both(trade war with US, agression on LAC with India); India’s SAGAR initiative and US’s role of net security provider; US’s policy of sharing technological and defense know- how ( agreements LEMOA, COMCASA etc) and India’s goal of developing indigenous capacity ( Aatmanirbhar Bharat, withdrawal from RCEP) – all can be mentioned.
Challenges part is not required, first part of the answer written along with examples will do.
Way forward is fine, but make it more concise.
Conclusion is fine.
Keep practicing. 🙂
