opinion/op-ed/tauktae-yaas- and-planning-for-the-next/ article36067714.ece - In the intro, mention the rising frequency of cyclones on both the coasts with the latest being Tauktae and Yass.
- In the body, mention India’s vulnerability and economic costs inflicted by the cyclones and suggest measures such as warning systems, resilient structures, coordination between the states and the centre etc.
- Conclude by mentioning the need for implementation of measures on a timely basis to avoid damage in the future.

Answer is fine but mention some data, reports etc to make it better. Your answers become quite generic, everyone will write such points, put some extra effort.
You can mention Global Climate Risk Index Report 2021, India was ranked 7th most vulnerable. India’s coastline is around 7,500 km with 262 million people exposed to cyclones and tsunamis.
In impacts, India lost around 2% of GDP and 15% of total revenue over 1999-2020 due to cyclones, atleast use some common data which you anyway have to remember for prelims. Rest of the points are good.
Way forward is also fine, mention the need of co-operation between centre-state, Odisha model, need of disaster resilience infrastructure etc. Also you can mention the need of reducing global warming because sea surface temperature is increasing in northern Indian ocean which is increasing the frequency of cyclones.
Conclusion is okay. Keep practicing. 🙂

Introduction is fine, you can mention recent cyclones here only. This is a GS3 answer, not GS1, so focus on the disaster aspects rather than geographical aspects. Causes are fine.
Impacts need to be elaborated a bit, mention some data, reports etc. This is the core demand of the question. You can mention first India’s geographical vulnerability- India’s coastline is around 7,500 km with 262 million people exposed to cyclones, Global Climate Risk Index Report 2021 ranked India as the 7th most vulnerable country.
In economic impacts, you can mention in GDP terms, India lost around 2% of GDP and 15% of total revenue over 1999-2020 due to cyclones.
In measures, you can add example of Odisha model, need to make infrastructure disaster-resilient etc. Rest of the points are fine.
Keep practicing. 🙂

Introduction is fine, causes are not asked, you can keep it concise.
Points mentioned are fine, just do value-addition.
In way forward, points are good. You can add some for example- mention the need of co-operation between centre-state, give example of Odisha model, instead of saying no construction mention need of disaster resilience infrastructure etc. Also you can mention the need of reducing global warming because sea surface temperature is increasing in northern Indian ocean which is increasing the frequency of cyclones.
Concluding statement will be appreciated.
Keep writing. 🙂
