Nice attempt, points are good. In intro, no need to specifically mention China..cost of doing business is higher in India than many countries including even B’desh sometimes.
Factors mentioned are good, you can use examples to substantiate your points..also things like power and fuel etc not being under GST regime can be specifically mentioned. High taxes increase costs. In way forward you can suggest on these lines.
Conclusion can be a bit more positives, you can mention some steps taken by govt in recent times- cancellation of retrospective taxation, labour reforms, Gatishakti, PLI scheme etc
Keep writing. 🙂

Fine attempt, in intro you have mentioned ease of doing business report, however the World Bank has decided to stop publishing the report due to discrepancies, you can mention this or you can start in other way by mentioning some steps taken by govt in recent times- cancellation of retrospective taxation, labour reforms, Gatishakti, PLI scheme etc
Points in the body of the answer are good. Mention cross-subsidization. Way forward is also fine. In the whole answer you have used “ease” of doing business, question mentions “cost”, so instead of using ease better to use cost.
Overall nice answer, keep writing. 🙂

Nice attempt, structure of the answer is fine..content is good too..but focus a bit on the “cost” part. You can mention cross-subsidization, the brunt of which companies have to bear, especially on electricity and rail freight. Also, you can use some examples with data to show regulatory burden or comparison with some other countries to boost your answer.
In suggestions, mention about including fuel and electricity in GST regime which will reduce the cost for companies due to input tax credit. Other points are good.
Introduction and conclusion are fine. Keep writing. 🙂
