Decent attempt.
Introduction is fine, you can also mention a bit about the severity of the pandemic and how it demanded high EI.
Next part is good, however EI is not about just one’s own emotions but understanding and managing other’s emotions better too, you can add few points about how healthcare workers needed to guide and mentor patient/families, keeping calm amidst doctor-patient conflicts, prioritising critical care for some patients over others and managing the situation amicably etc
Also risk to their own lives, lives of their families were emotionally-sapping and needed good self-awareness as well as management- you can mention that.
Improvement and conclusion part is fine.
Overall you can divide your body part of the answer in 4 parts- self-awareness, self-management, social awareness and relationship management and write points for each to make the answer more presentable.
Keep practicing. 🙂

Decent attempt.
Introduction is very good.
Points in the body are also good.
However, you can mention some key decisions which healthcare workers had to make and the role of EI in helping in that- going on the job inspite of risks to their own lives and lives of their families, prioritising critical care for some patients over others and managing the situation amicably, doctor-patient conflicts etc
Further, you can mention a short way forward- training, support etc
Conclusion is good.
Keep practicing. 🙂

Your understanding is good. But the answer needs to bit a more content-rich.
Quote at the start is good, intro is fine too.
After that, you are taking too much space for explanation, use key words make points crisp-give a subheading – role of EI rather than mentioning it every time.
After the para about personal life, next two para can be summarised as basically ‘being empathetic’.
You have mentioned decision-making in the last para give some examples- going on the job inspite of risks to their own lives and lives of their families, prioritising critical care for some patients over others and managing the situation amicably, doctor-patient conflicts etc
You can end by mentioning steps such as training and support to healthcare workers to improve their emotional quotient other than increasing the technical competence to manage the deadly pandemic.
Keep practicing. 🙂
