Preferred books:

Geography- NCERT and Oxford Atlas available in hindi.
History – NCERT (old and new)
Polity- NCERT, Political theory, Laxmikanth
Economics- only basi concepts required-NCERT- From 9-12
Current Affairs- Dainik Jagran and magazine- jansatha  

What to focus on for Mains Prep?

World history is not in prelims but in mains. So the book I used was Arjun Devki NCERT.
For geography NCERTs from 9-12

Ethics paper is very important and helps in securing good marks easily.

Read two newspapers at max. Be regular with it. If it gets missed then at least read the headlines. Dainik jagran is a holistic paper. Be through with the syllabus and read those topics in the paper. Make notes from it. Don’t take more than 1 hr to read it.  

Tips for students:

Be good in writing answers in brief. Practice answer writing as much as you can
